American Metropolia

Two new Bishops were received into the Autonomous Orthodox Metropolia of North and South America and the British Isles for Canada and North America. Their names are Bishop Joseph (Royer) of Edmonton and Bp Seraphim (Rousopoulos) of Manhattan and Long Island.

Ceremonies and meetings took place at the Church of the Transfiguration in Woodstock, NY, and the Church of St Gerasimos in New York City.
