Ecumenism

The recent Oct. 15th meeting in Vienna, hosted by the ‘Pro Oriente’ organization (which seeks to ecumenically merge the ecumenist patriarchates with the Vatican),  was attend by representatives from the various Patriarchal organization.  The meetings and events held by these organizations are further demonstration that, far from withdrawing or ‘re-evaluating’ their position on ecumenism, the so-called ‘historical Patriarchates’ are as prominent as ever in promoting this heresy. Similar events have been held in the past few months, in Ghent. The meeting expressed the desire to continue to support the basic framework worked out in the notorious “Ravenna Declaration”.
