Sunday, July 1 (NS) this year, the new church was consecrated for the Autonomous Orthodox Christian Metropolitan Church of the Old Calendar in Italy, dedicated to St. John the Baptist of Bergamo, Bergamo Province. The Divine Liturgy and the consecration of the church service was officiated by His Eminence Dr Metropolitan Onuphrius (Pop), Metropolitan Primate, and the vicar priest Victor Pana, vicar of the mission of Bergamo, in the presence of a large numbers of believers. Responses to data collected were young Greek scholar Ionel Ilie, born in the city Borsa Maramures, Romania. 

Finally, Agape was offered where His Eminence Metropolitan Onufrie held an evangelical sermon expounding on the proper interpretation of the readings of the 4th Sunday after Pentecost, giving thanks to the Primate, His Eminence Metropolitan John of America for support and recognition, and then to all believers who have supported our noble cause and hereby making the new church and residence for the True Orthodox Church and Metr. Onufrie.
