Russian Resurrection (so-called)

Police recently attempted to detain the head of the brotherhood of the Holy Martyr Metropolitan Vladmir of Galicia, Oleg Filatcheva. An interposition was attempted to prevent the Brotherhood from honoring the anti-Bolshevik hero, General Peter Krosnov, at a memorial service at Donskoy Monastery.

Police were apparently concerning over what was described as the ‘tensions in Moscow’, as well as the Brotherhoods carrying of the old Imperial flag, along with the flag of the Byzantine empire. Oleg Filatchev said, “They’re very much trying to see the imperial flag as the swastika.”
