Proceedings of the RTOC Synod of Bishops Meeting in January 2018

The Synod of Bishops of the Russian True Orthodox Church was held from the 19 January/ 1 February to 21 January/ 3 February 2018, in the city of Dimitrov of Moscow region.

The Synod made the following decisions:

– To sever prayerful and Eucharistic communion with Serbian True Orthodox Church

– To depose Bishop Stefan (Sabelnik) of his episcopal rank.
