The website of the ROCOR-PSCA now reads, as of October 3, 2008: “The Australian diocese of RPTSZ has now added three parishes from the Free Serbian Church: St. King Stephen-Dechani Church in Victoria, St. George Church in Brisbane, and St. Nicholas Church in Canberra. They are all under the care of Fr. Hegumen John (Smelic).”

The Free Serbian Church was originally a wide break with the Serbian Patriarchate over the issue of Ecumenism and Sergianism, and reunited with the Patriarchate under Patriarch Pavle in the 1990’s due to their communion with the ROCOR.
