True Orthodoxy in Russia

(catacomb.org.ua) A petition to join the Russian True-Orthodox Synod in America was just made by an Orthodox mission community in Mexico and Latin America. The mission claims two bishops, 23 priests, two monasteries and more than 20 parishes in Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica and other countries in South America, as well as arrival in the United States. The mission adheres to the old Julian calendar. According to the testimony of representatives of the mission, they previously belonged to the Alexandrian Exarchate in North America, and develop Orthodox missions among the local population.

Bp Stefan (Sabelnik) of Trenton has been assigned to investigate their petition. More forthcoming as we get it.
