TOC-PC Officially Ends Communion with the Milan Synod

New pages have been placed on the website of the True Orthodox Church of the Patristic Calendar under Metropolitan Anghelos of Avlonos indicating that the communion between Milan and their Church is officially over, due to Milan’s embrace of the Moscow Patriarchate.

As evidence, they presented pictures of Patriarch Kirill of the Moscow Patriarchate hung among the icons, as well as comments from Bp Abundios of Lecco indicating recognition of same.
The rejection of communion of Milan comes two months after statements from Milan which led to a break between the American and Western European Metropolias, as well as a statement from the American Metropolia firmly rejecting both ecumenism and Sergianism. The statement has had a mixed effect, leading both to isolated clergy defections to World Orthodoxy as well as the entry of new clergy and laity.
