(ruschurchabroad.com) – The ROCA Assistance Fund has received $37,600 from the sale at an auction at Sotheby’s of a necklace of Paschal eggs (some made by the Faberge studio), belonging previously to Princess Vera Konstantinovna Romanov.

These eggs were given as gifts to Vera Konstantinovna by various members of the Royal Family in the beginning of the 20th century.

Irina Sergeevna, Princess Bagration-Mukhranskaya, inherited them and decided to donate them for the good of our Church. ROCA First Hierarch Metropolitan Agafangel has used this donation to establish a Fund for the purchase of property in the USA for the ROCA Synod of Bishops. Please pray for the well-being and salvation of Princess Irina Sergeevna.
