American Metropolia

(source) The official website of the American Metropolia has recorded its first announcement of a Bishop to be received into the Metropolia in August, which we reported recently on NFTU.

“We are pleased to announce the first of our Episcopal Receptions: Bishop Ioann of Buenos Aires, who has parishes throughout Argentina ranging from Buenos Aires, Argentina to a seminary in Caracas, Venezuela. Out of the desire to be part of the True Orthodox Church he has accepted regularization into our True Synod.

He will be received in on August 25, 2012 at the meeting of our Episcopate in New York.

More information is forthcoming.”
