NFTU Editor: Patriarch Kyrill is now visiting Kazakhastan. One purpose is to consecrate a new church building; the other, probably more important reason, is that Patriarch Kyrill will be speaking at, visiting, with, and be involved in, and opening the IV Congress of World and Traditional Religions. So, the MP is supposed to be a member of the World Council of Churches, but, said it doesn’t permit joint prayers (contradicted by the Belorussian MP head who participated in joint prayer and mock communion services); but, apparently, since ROCOR-MP has been trapped (but, only trapped in their own minds if they would just break free of the slavery they are in), no body can really do anything. So, why not get the MP more involved in the World Congress of Religions. Everyone remembers Assisi Part 1 and 2, but, I suppose, Patriarch Kyrill is perhaps a bit upset that the Pope is having all the fun with trans-religious syncretisim, so, he’s got to be an important big wig at the opening of the World Congress of Religions.
I’m sure as he’s paling around and exchanging gifts and prayer requests with Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, and Muslims, he’ll have his ego lifted as he realizes that, “Hey, maybe I can be one of the founders of the new one world religion, and make a nice profit in it also.”
