True Orthodoxy in Greece

(source: Euphrosynos Cafe) A recent web posting from members of the Serbian True Orthodox Church (under the GOC-Chrysostomos) appeared stating “On December 25th, the Serbian delegation of three members will go to the Council of the RTOC in Odessa, Ukraine. Our hieromonk Acacius is painting the icon of the st. PHILARET, which will be used in the canonisation of the saint. We have been informed that maybe it will occur the first concelebration of GOC and RTOC.”

While there appear to be disputes about the date this will occur (nor is the posting clear as to whether this is New or Old Style reckoning), this could be the first public concelebration between the two Churches. It will likely occur shortly after the glorification of Metropolitan Philaret and the Russian Catacomb Christians reported here on the the 14th of this month.
