New ROCOR (V) Faction Elects Metropolitan

(NFTU) The ROCOR (V) has a new Metropolitan of Moscow, according to different news sources. The election was held during the Sobor listed above at the ROCOR (V- Russia) website. The Hierarchs of this body in attendance were Archbishop Anthony (Orlov) of Moscow, Archbishop Victor (Pivoravov) of Slavyansk and Bishop Stefan (Babaev) of North Russia.

Archbishop Anthony was elected to head the Synod and was given the title “Metropolitan of Moscow”.
