Bp. Cyprian of Oreoi: Met. Cyprian was “The Good Shepherd, The Man of God”
During the June 01, 2013 funeral for Met. Cyprian of Oropos and Phyle (that is, May 19, 2013, on the Traditional Church Calendar), the acting president of the Synod in Resistance, Bp. Cyprian of Oreoi, delivered an encomium praising Met. Cyprian. The title given on the Synod in Resistance website is “The Good Shepherd, the Man of God”. The pdf may be found here.
Why are you posting these heretics on your website?
Because, whether we like them or not, they are newsworthy. I post stories about the Ecumenical Patriarch, Serbian Patriarchate, etc, and those are heretics. That stories, links, etc, would be about the SiR, etc, isn’t surprising. Despite, in mine own opinion, the negative effect that the SiR has had on true message of Orthodoxy, they have to be covered; they profoundly affected how people viewed many ‘Old Calendarists.’
