Patriarch Kirill considers it premature to discuss his grandfather’s canonization

So the answer to the question of a Christian patriarch in the canonization of Metropolitan Joseph (Cernov) of Alma-Ata, which had been the Metropolitan of this region from 1960 until 1975. Patriarch Kirill  testified that he met personally Metropolitan Joseph, who was a friend of his father the spiritual – Metropolitan Nicodemus (Rotov), and remember very well “that was indeed an extraordinary man.”
