ROCOR-A: Pastoral Visit of Metropolitan Agafangel to US

Metropolitan Agafangel (ROCOR-A) of Eastern America and New York visited parishes in America from May 2-10. Pictures of the meeting are available on a web album available from the Astoria Church of the Holy Trinity.
The reasons for his visit were unclear, and may have been just as simple as a pastoral visit to the Diocese of Eastern America and New York, a title traditionally held by Metropolitans of the ROCOR since at least the time of Metropolitan Anastassy. We shall report more as we learn it.
