American True Orthodox Metropolia Creates Two Vicariates in Philippines Amidst COVID Crisis
The Autonomous Orthodox Metropolia of North and South America and the British Isles has erected two vicariates to assist in the independent development of the Church in the Philippines, according to a document released yesterday on their official website. The document names Archpriest Peter and Archpriest Andreas as Vicars for Davao and Cotobato respectively.
According to the Metropolia website, “His Beatitude, Metropolitan John, has approved the creation of two Vicariates in our Church’s Deanery in the Philippines; the Vicariate of Davao and the Vicariate of Cotabato. Vladyka John has also given brief instructions in order to aid Confessors dealing with any that have taken the unapproved vaccines. For any additional directions to support these measures on penances for the immoral vaccines, one should contact the Metropolitan Chancery.”
