It’s Official: Former Archbishop Gregory Harbored Another Sex Offender Among the Clergy

(Montana – NFTU) Former Archbishop Gregory of Denver had another sex offender in his ranks, according to Orthodox sex-abuse watchdog website pokrov.org .

While allegations of lewd behavior towards children in his former home state of New York had been circling the former Fr Savvas Ross (William Ross) for years, virtually no information had been located until the near-obsessive search late in 2005 for information on the part of Brother Nathaniel (Kapner), a Colorado eccentric and former novice of Dormition Skete, who collaborated with pokrov.org to get the missing answers to Ross’ past. Their search turned up 1st degree sexual battery– in Oregon, not New York as was previously believed.

Last year it was reported here that one of the recent clergy taken in from the Greek Old Calendar Church by the former ROAC Archbishop had been suspended for having been caught in a prostitution sting. NFTU
