(Interfax) – Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Kirill on Tuesday awarded the chairman of the Central Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Russia Mufti Talgat Tajuddin order of the Russian Orthodox Church in honor of the Holy Prince Daniel of Moscow.

According the correspondent of the Interfax-Religion, the award passed in the House of Unions in Moscow.

Presenting the Mufti a premium charter, Patriarch Kirill noted that it has signed yet, the late Patriarch Alexy II. “That is why this charter – and the deceased, and the still alive (the Patriarchs – IF). Accept our deepest gratitude for your service to Russia”, – said the patriarch Kirill , naming T. Tajuddin, dear brother. “

Mufti confessed that to receive the Order of the Orthodox – is a “great honor” and expressed the hope that he would continue to “serve to strengthen our relations.”

“Without the Russian Orthodox Church, we do not represent the activities of the Central Spiritual Administration of Muslims. We are part of one whole, unified homeland, God stored in Russia, Holy Russia”, – said T. Tajuddin.
