NFTU Editor’s Note: The expansion of True Orthodox once again into the lands in the Balkan is something to be welcomed. With the fall of the Serbian Patriarchate to the forces of ecumenism and modernism, there is a vacuum left in the Balkans, and True Orthodox must be ready to fill this vacuum. We can only pray and hope and work for the establishment of thriving True Orthodox missions in these areas; one of the important aspect of such missions to focus on the fact that Orthodoxy is meant for all ethnic groups, and not just Serbs, Greek, Russians. Croatians, Bosnians, and others are also included in the Christ’s command to preach the Gospel to all nations, baptizing them and making disciples.
Just an FYI, the article in Greek says that what was celebrated was the opening liturgy at the chapel belonging to the ‘Convent of the Dormition of the Theotokos’, not ‘the temple of Holy Women’
Thanks, Stephanos. I see now, ” Ἱερᾶς Γυναικείας Μονῆς” means “convent” (or “of sacred women monastery”). Thanks!
You’re welcome! Hope all is well
