New Church Consecrated in Avellino, Italy (Naples Region)

(source: ortodossia-in-occidente) On Sunday July 13, 2008 (New Style) in Avellino, a new Orthodox Temple was consecrated for our Metropolia. During the Divine Liturgy Rev. Father Angelo Iandolo was ordained a priest. The young priest was appointed for the Church of Saints Patrick and Nicholas. The consecration was done with the blessing of H.B. Evloghios, represented by H.E. Abundius, vicar bishop of the Metropolia. Pictured at left is the parish, the link above provides images of the church consecration.
