Planned Parenthood And Record Abortion Numbers
As reported on January 7th, 2013, by the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List and confirmed in a separate report by CBS news, Planned Parenthood has recorded a record number of abortions due to massively increased government funding. At the same time, cancer screening and contraceptive services by the pro-abortion organization have noticeably dropped. During fiscal year 2011-2012, Planned Parenthood received $542 million dollars from the federal government in the form of Medicaid reimbursements, along with government grants and contracts. This means that tax-payers fund approximately 45% of all Planned Parenthood operations. In 2011, Planned Parenthood reported that it was responsible for performing a record high 333,964 abortions.
