Has the ROCOR-A Synod’s Website been hacked again? Preliminary views show the website is down. The site has been previously victimized by hackers, who we presume are sympathetic to the Moscow Patriarchate. Update (2:54 am) The website is still down. We are hoping for a revamp of the site, but if MP hackers are involved we have cause to worry. The .com site is still up, thank God.
ROCOR/Synod in Resistance good news: (Hat tip: R.D., A.A.) Archbishop Andronik will be visiting Etna throughout this weekend. According to information from Vl Chrysostomos of Etna:
Vespers for the Feast will be on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Matins will be on Sunday morning at 7:15 a.m., followed by the receiving of the Bishops and the Divine Liturgy at 9:00 a.m. A meal will follow immediately after Liturgy at 12:00 noon, with the male visitors eating at the monastery and female visitors at the nearby Convent of St. Elizabeth. A memorial services for the reposed monks and benefactors of the monastery will conducted on the afternoon of the Feast, after Sunday Vespers…Daily Presanctified Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday morning at 6:30 a.m. Any visitors who intend to stay over until Monday are welcome to attend the morning Liturgy either at the monastery or convent before departing…. His Eminence, Archbishop Andronik will be departing on Tuesday morning.
