Seventh Anniversary of Enthronement of Metropolitan Raphael of Moscow

(Source) On June 26, in the church of the Archangel Raphael, Moscow, the Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom was celebrated after which the bishops, clergy, monastics and faithful of the True Orthodox Church congratulated the Primate of his enthronement, His Holiness Raphael, Archbishop Metropolitan of Moscow All-Russia.


Metropolitan Raphael was enthroned as head of the TOC in Moscow in 2005. This was the seventh anniversary of his enthronement.


Congratulations were read from the Supreme Council of the TOC-R, Metropolitan Anghelos of Avlonos (TOC-PC) and Metropolitan John of the Americas and the British Isles. The celebrations were held in advance of the Unity celebrations between the Russian, Greek and American Metropolias that will take place in July. The greetings were read by Metropolitan Daniel of Volokolamsk and Kolomna.
