TOC (R): New Metropolitan For Latin America
The Synod of the True Orthodox Church of Russia, under Metropolitan Raphael of Moscow, determined in its Synod meetings of September 23-24 to elevate Archbishop Alexei of Colombia to the rank of Metropolitan.
The Synod also determined that priests of the diocese would have available to them a yearly training seminar in Russia beginning in 2013.
