For the primates of the True Orthodox Church of Russia and Greece in the united True Orthodox Communion, a concelebration marked a shared feast day.

On November 8/21, in celebration of the Archangel Michael and of the Council of the Heavenly Powers, concelebrations were held  – the day commemorates Saint Raphael, patron saint of Metropolitan Raphael of Moscow, having meaning as well for Metropolitan Anghelos of Avlonos, the head of the True Orthodox Church of the Patristic Calendar.

Also present for the festivities was Metropolitan Chrysostomos of Ecuador and South America, the TOC-PC Representative Bishop for Latin America. It was the fifth visit to Greece for the Metropolitan.
