As was the custom in Metropolitan Vitaly’s day, the Holy Transfiguration Monastery once again celebrated its feast day on the first Sunday in Transfiguration.  Pilgrims gathered from different parts of the North America, mainly from the Northeast.

On Sunday Liturgy was served by His Grace Archbishop Vladimir, assisted by clergy of the Canadian parishes.

Following the Cherubic hymn, Archbishop Vladimir ordained as priest Father Demetrius Merkusheva, formerly Deacon in the parish of the Royal Martyrs in Toronto.
